I dropped by at the Helsinki Handicraft Fair. I was, of course, most interested in the stands of yarn and wool shops. I stayed cool and avoided impulse shopping: nowadays I try to buy yarn only if I already have a planned purpose for it. As I have wanted to make a woolly sweater out of plötulopi, unspun Icelandic wool, I sought for the stand of Villa Ellu, the importer of Ístex yarns to Finland. The Villa Ellu girls had also tested the Knittingpatterns.is -plugin and fallen for it :) This is how inviting the stand looked like:
