Kälyn joulupaketittiin pitää parin vuoden välein neuloa säärystimet. Tällä kertaa päätin langan värin innoittamana tehdä säärystimiin viiniköynnöksia. Malli on oma, inspiraatiota saatu

Säärystimet on neulottu ylhäältä alaspäin. Loin 64 silmukkaa, tein 2o2n resoria 40 kierrosta, lisäsin viimeisellä kierroksella 8 silmukkaa (=72). Neuloin lehtikuvion neljä kertaa ja kavensin joka kuvion toiston jälkeen 2 simukkaa (=64). Viimeisellä kierroksella kavensin vielä 8 silmukkaa (=56) ja tein 2o2n resoria 7 kierrosta. Päättelin silmukat loysasti käyttäen tätä
Jeny's super-stretchy bind-off -tekniikkaa.

My sister-in-law needs new pair of leg warmers every couple of years. For her Christmas present this time I decided to decorate the leg warmers with wines, inspired by the colour of the yarn. The pattern is my own. I got some good ideas from Kiira leg warmers.
The leg warmers are knit top down. I casted on 64 stitches, made 40 rounds of k2p2 stretch, added 8 stitches on last round (=72). I knit the leaf pattern four times and decreased two stitches after each pattern repeat (=64). I decreased another 8 stitches on the last round (=56) and knit 7 rounds of k2p2 stretch. I bound off the stitches using Jeny's super-stretchy bind-off technique.
